Little TDU

by Anne Rosenberg

Tracking is my Zen spot with my dogs because they love it!!! Each of my 10 dogs earned their TD before they were 1 1/2 so about 2 years  go we started to train for other tests. Sly was ultimately able the earn his TDX and TDU last year.  Along with Teryl, we embarked upon New Hamshire for the Yankee Golden Retriever Club TDU and VST tests held on August 8th.  Little (DC CH Willow Springs Ev-Ry Sweetheart Mw VCD1 BN RE FDC OA OAJ MXE CA DD NDD  FCAT ACT2 SWN THDN RATN CGCU TKI ATT FITG VC) and Bounce  (FC Ice-Bern’s Ev-ry Up and Down TD JE THDN ATT FDC CGC TKN FITB VC) stepped up and enjoyed the challenging courses. Passers by tried to play with the “cute dachshunds” while they worked and the strategically placed groundhog holes on Bounce’s track were an added surprise!  Each dog passed to earn their TDU title.
